KDV Label is an award-winning manufacturer of custom labels for retail brands. Leading with service since 1974, brands choose KDV for the craftsmanship, creativity, collaboration and care put into working with each label.
Worked alongside the marketing team to design and create applicable trade show materials for four different trade shows, including labels, flyers, and postcards; updated and designed social media applications, including LinkedIn and Instagram/Facebook; and ran a social media campaign for the holiday season. Assisted with a website redesign initiative from brainstorm to application while also taking ownership of day-to-day tasks such as label preparation and inventory organization.
Label Design 1:
In the year 2024, KDV Label celebrated its 50th anniversary, and I was asked to design a label that shows the celebratory nature of that accomplishment. I looked around on many different websites to gain inspo and some ideas, and also worked to show this label as an advertisement.
Iterations:
This project required lots of iterations to find the final vivision. I worked to create many different designs to bring to meetings and received constructive feedback to bring something better to the next meeting.
Final Project
Label Design 2:
This was a label redesign project for a client. The client wanted to add an accessibility factor by incorporating Spanish onto their labels. I was tasked with adding the Spanish words onto the previous existing labels. The client provided the wording, which was helpful because I don't have much previous experience with speaking Spanish. One challenge with this project was that the text was previously outlined, so I had to search the internet to find the matching font.
Social Media
Worked together with the marketing team to create social media posts that reflected the branding guidelines and colors. We also worked together to create a social media post template kit to allow the social media posts to be designed more efficiently.
Website Design
Took key details from various new employees' resumes to write press releases to announce new hires.
Advertisments
Designed an advertisement to appear in the local newspaper, with a key purpose to showcase the company's key capabilities in printing labels.
